risk of rain 2 has been crushing expectations. we now know that in the first weekend of the games early access, the game pulled in an astonishing $5,000,000. This money may not sound like a lot to some of you, but risk of rain 2 was created by a team of just 3 people - the folks over at hopoo games. The game is also sold on steam and published by gearbox, so it's not like hopoo just flat out gets all of the money. either way, it's a lot for a game of this scale and has some good implications for the games future.
We also recently got the second developer update for risk of rain 2 which included a good bit of details regarding the game's next patch or update. Just like developer update one for the game, the second one gives us some pretty clear insight for where risk of rain is going.
