how to easily unlock all characters (survivors) in risk of rain 2's early access

risk of rain 2 just hit early access and is a ton of fun to play. So far the game has 6 playable classes - you can play as the commando by default, unlock the robot, MUL-T, unlock the huntress (archer), unlock the engineer (explosives guy), unlock the articifer or mage and finally unlock the mercenary.

Unlocking all of the classes doesn't take too long and i was able to do it in my first play session of the game within a six or so hour window without actively trying too hard. To unlock all of the survivors or characters is pretty easy and you can simply follow the video - use the timestamps or check the descriptions below.
how to unlock MUL-T: complete the first area five times. Simply complete the teleporter event on the first area five times.. game difficulty does not matter (1:04)
how to unlock huntress: to unlock huntress, simply complete the teleporter even in the 3rd area - again, game difficulty does not matter (2:18)
how to unlock the engineer: to unlock the engineer you must complete 30 total rounds/areas. difficulty does not matter so this one is obviously easiest on the easy difficulty (3:31)
how to unlock the mage (artificer): unlocking the mage is the most involved process imo - you've gotta save up 10 or 11 lunar tokens (depending on your unlock method) and get into the appropriate realm to purchase. it is fastest to get the coins on a harder difficulty (5:12)
how to unlock the mercenary: unlocking the mercenary isn't very straightforward - as far as i understand, you've gotta complete all rounds to the point where you go back to the first area (with no deaths) - each round thereafter should have a chance of noting that a celestial orb appears, which means the boss fight will be followed by a portal opening to a hidden realm. if you can complete the jump puzzle in the hidden realm, you can sacrifice yourself to the obelisk at the end, unlocking the mercenary for you and your team (7:57)
