"Spiritia: I wanna do a spot check *Rolls*
DM: You see nothing
Lilli: I wanna try!!!! *Rolls*
DM: There's a Wall following you.
Spiritia: HOW DID I MISSED THAT!!!"

A video of me methodically clearing my way through Sepperin Castle I, the Castle Entrance.

RKS is a game about the challenges that plague every (wo)man, represented metaphorically through enemies like ADVANCING WALL OF DOOM!!!!

For those of you Mega Man virgins, every Mega Man that people think of as Mega Man when Mega Man is mentioned (as in, not the Network or the ZX or whatever) have the following structure with minor variance:
- 8 Robot Masters
- 4-ish Fortress Stages.

You receive a passwords after every Robot Master, but in the case of the Fortress you have to go through it in one go. This makes the Fortress a marathon and a test of endurance. Running out of resources in the Fortress can mean BIG trouble for the less adept players. This happened to me here.

Personally, right now I do not know how I beat Super Meat Boy, These stages gave me SOOOOO much trouble I decided to be VERY methodical about them. I pause when I change powers, I use Silberflügel "Eins" when I'm not 100% sure I'll make the jump and I abuse Grollschwert and Liebessturm to take on annoying enemies. I also have a finger hovering over Pause to use a Cross Tank and switch to a boss weakness at the first sign of trouble. I took m several tries to beat these stages to my satisfaction. I guess I'm just rusty, since I had done them before without trouble. I mean, I had beaten this game at least 10 times.

Oh well. The boss of Sepperin Castle I (the stage name is actually Castle Entrance) is, as fanon called it, the Cross Wall. It is based on the Mecha Dragon from Mega Man 2. It is a wall composed of Living Crosses. It is weak to Klageharnisch and Die geplante Zukunft. Either of these have their disadvantage: the Projected Future has its all-or-nothing aspect to it and you will probably not kill it anyways, similar to what happens if you try to us it on Freu. The Harness of Sorrow, however, can defeat it in four hits, but the trajectory of the projectile is, to put it mildly, nonstandard. Aiming is a pain and puts you in danger of the Wall's attacks. However, once you got the pattern down, beating it with the Soul Rifle (or Shotgun of Souls or Cannon of Souls or Seelegewehr or whatever you call it) becomes trivial. Good luck.

See ya'll next video. Raak out!
