"WHAT IS A MAN!?!?!?"
-Dracula

A video of me whipping my way through Sepperin Castle IV, the Castle Keep

RKS is the n-th game of the Castlevania franchise. Prove me wrong.

Fun fact: This video was originally over 20 minutes long, but due to the Cirno video thing, when I made this video I couldn't upload videos longer than 15 minutes. So after I had this video ready, it had to go back to editing, where I took the lengthy dialogue and doubled the speed. Since the dialogue, but not the music, was fast-forwarded, I needed to slow down to normal speed whenever sound effects happened. With that came the obvious problem of the music being off-synced. You will notice particularly in one part.

I finished doing the edit and uploaded the video. But while annotating, I noticed that the editing I only did it for two key parts only. The video and audio were WAY out of sync in some parts, so back to the editing block. After some creative cut and paste of the audio, this is the result. Is not a 100% faithful representation of the game, but it does the work for the most part.

Anyways, this is it, the final confrontation against Graf Michael Sepperin. The stage itself has two route. I don't think there's any good reason to pick the bottom route though, since the upper route has that nifty Bomberman Easter egg. Which now that I think of it makes sense to be there, since Zorne is the Bomberman representative of this game, she is the adoptive daughter of the Count, and this is the Count stage. Hooray for epiphanies!!!

Other than that Easter egg, this stage is very standard. And very dialogue heavy. I'll leave a button commentary if you want to skip the pre-boss dialogue. The post-boss dialogue... just leave the video and see you next time.

The boss of this stage is Graf Michael Sepperin, the leader of Rosenkreuzstilette. I love the "word" Rosenkreuzstilette. 'Blades of the Rose Cross' just sounds badass for a military organization, religious or not.

In case it is not painfully obvious enough, he is an expy of Dracula from Castlevania (in the sequel he even throws a glass of wine at you!). By the way, "Graf" translate into "Count", so he is Count Michael Sepperin.

Before Desperation Mode, Sepperin attack pattern consist of him teleporting around the room. If you attack him before his teleportation is complete, he'll teleport immediately, dodging your attack. If you wait, he'll throw a projectile that cause pillars of fire to rise on the floor, with every two pillars leaving a comfortable landing zone to dodge. Immediately afterward he'll transform into a bunch of bats and ram you. He'll continue do these two things until he gets tired and start teleporting again.

Upon reaching Desperation Mode, he'll disappear in his own shadow and rise as a giant demon wherever you're standing. His pattern now consist of throwing three fireballs at you, jumping towards you while throwing fire pillars. Upon landing, the shockwave will stun you if you are touching the floor, making you easy target for the fireballs.

Sepperin is weak to (semi-ironically) the Harness of Sorrow (Klageharnisch). Why semi-ironically? The Harness is Trauare's weapon, who is Zorne's best friend, who is the adoptive daughter of the Count, fighting to gain the love and acceptance of her adoptive father. So basically, the Count gets thwarted by his adoptive daughter's best friend, the adoptive daughter he apparently neglects in favor of Iris. Friendship, **** yeah!

Oh yeah, Iris. We haven't seen her since the first video in the prologue, right? Speaking of the she-Devil...
