Today, we went to Burnaby Lake to walk at the trail. This is actually our first time seeing this place. It's very nice and peaceful here and it's not illegal to feed the birds. There;s lots of them here living peacefully.
This walkway was named in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Rotary International on February 23, 2005.
Worldwide, Rotarians in 166 nations have provided leadership in:
- funding and building community projects
- formation of the United Nations
- eradication of polio
- youth leadership development programs; and
- local and international scholarships.
In Burnaby, Rotary Clubs have served the community for over 55 years with more than 200 humanitarian, educational and capital projects.
