Spoilers to DQ IX. You fell to earth, was betrayed by your teacher, helped the lives of so many people and villages, Stopped a rising evil nation from beyond time and rose up to the heavens. There awaits in a mutated and deformed castle, the Twisted Corvus. Betrayed by his trust, he had gone mad with power, hurting the mighty zenus, and throwing the world into chaos before attempting to destroy it. Only one person in the heavens can save everybody. You. This final boss theme invokes so much power. You can't help but get pumped knowing what would happen if you were to lose (beyond losing half your gold) The Pain and sorrow corvus felt, all that anger that had consumed him. Emotion flows through this song like a waterfall. It's by far my favorite boss/final boss theme in DQ.
