As a note, I haven't played far enough in DQ 7 nor even come close to beating it unfortunately, it's the only one I can say this. So with that in mind, this music choice isn't influenced by the game and when it's used. But by it's own merit as a composition. As the second battle and boss theme in this list, I don't want to retrace old steps. This battle theme has a little bit more elegance to it, and at the same time, feels a little more grave. I hear that DQ 7 is the longest entry in the series. So that could be aided by this song, making each battle a test of endurence as you press on. Then we get to the boss theme for 7. It's a short segment for sure before going back to the battle. But it's an interesting feeling on it's own. At some points it almost feels comical. A complete opposite to the Battle theme. My highlight for this pick is for the battle theme though.
