Description du jeu
Dans cet épisode, la roue a désigné The Bouncer, un jeu de combat et d’action sorti en 2000 sur PlayStation 2, développé par Squaresoft et édité par Sony Computer Entertainment. Ce titre inaugural de la PS2 met en scène trois videurs (Sion Barzahd, Volt Krueger et Kou Leifoh) qui protègent une jeune fille, Dominique, des griffes d’une organisation criminelle, la Mikado Group.
Le gameplay combine combats en temps réel avec des coups de poing, coups de pied et combos, et un système où vous choisissez entre les trois personnages à chaque niveau, chacun ayant des styles de combat uniques. Les niveaux se déroulent dans des environnements variés comme des bars, trains ou usines, avec des cinématiques pré-rendues impressionnantes pour l’époque. Le mode multijoueur permet des duels à deux joueurs. Malgré des critiques sur sa courte durée et sa linéarité, The Bouncer est apprécié pour ses graphismes révolutionnaires et son ambiance cinématographique.
