Game #50 is Final Fantasy Legend II on Game Boy, a JRPG.
The second of the Final Fantasy Legend (aka SaGa) series, FFL II improves on the first game's formula in a few ways. A new 'class' is added in the form of Robots which works similar to humans in the first game, and humans follow a similar stat leveling path as mutants.
Robots get stronger by giving them stronger gear; stronger armor increases their defense, stronger weapons increase their strength or agility, and the overall level of the item increases their health. Humans and Mutants have semi-random stat increases after every fight, depending on the weapons and abilities they use. Mutants no longer get completely random abilities, only the last ability can change (and you can choose which ability is last).
