[Description]
Here's the beginning of my Blaze Black Nuzlocke adventure! Gimme some names for Pokemon down in the comments and you can become one of my Pokemon! Because otherwise I'll need to figure out some other way of figuring out what to name my Pokemon.
I'll probably do another episode of Baldur's Gate 3 a week from now just to give me more time to get some names. Perhaps I'll alternate between them or I might eventually switch more to doing a Pokemon video each week.
To summarize the rules:
1. Dead Pokemon must be released.
2. No using revives.
3. Only 2 Pokemon catches per area (exception for gym catches.)
4. Defeating a gym leader gives me a 'gym catch' which I can use to catch the next Pokemon I see in any area for free.
5. No catching duplicates.
6. Failure to catch a Pokemon means I cannot catch that Pokemon (or any of its evolutions). Also I lose one of my opportunities to catch a Pokemon if this happens.
7. In double battles I can catch either Pokemon (unless another rule prevents me from catching one of them or both.)
8. No legendary Pokemon.
9. Cheats are allowed, but only exp multipliers or rebattling trainer cheats. This is just for scaling, otherwise I'll need to spend a bunch of time grinding off of wild Pokemon in order to have a chance to beat the Nuzlocke run. And that's just not fun at all.
10. If my party wipes, I can still use the Pokemon in my PC (and likely will unless it is far too hopeless.)
11. Forgot to include this, probably won't matter, BUT... If I see a shiny Pokemon it is a free catch. I am able to catch it even if it's a duplicate or in an area I have already caught a Pokemon. It's so rare and cool that I feel like if I encounter one I deserve to be able to catch it.
