Today, we let's find out the first benchmark of the RTX 4080 of the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series gpu.
The gpu was spotted on Geekbench benchmark database. It was tested not only one time but even in three different graphics APIs, that is CUDA, OpenCl and Vulkan.
Plus, we have compare the results with those of other gpu including the flagship of Nvidia RTX 4000 series gpu, the RTX 4090, and also with the RTX 3090 and 3080 of the previous generation.
Currently, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series gpus announced are two skus: 4090, 4080.
But, in the next months are coming other four skus including RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, 4060, 4050.
Regarding the specifications, the flagship RTX 4090 should has the full AD102-300 GPU with 128 streaming multiprocessors, 16384 cuda cores, 24 GB of GDDR6X memory operating at 21 Gbps, 384 bit of memory bus, and 1 TB / s of memory bandwidth. and a tdp of 450W.
The RTX 4080 should features the AD103-300 with 76 streaming multiprocessors, 9728 cuda cores, 24 GB of GDDR6X memory operating at 23 Gbps, 256 bit of memory bus, and 732 Gb/s of memory bandwidth. and a tdp of 340W.
The RTX 4070 sku would be released in two different versions, one with 12 Gb and another with 10GB of memory.
The first version should has the AD104-400 with 60 streaming multiprocessors, 7680 cuda cores, 12 GB of GDDR6X memory operating at 21 Gbps, 192 bit of memory bus, and 504 Gb/s of memory bandwidth, all with a tdp of 285 W.
The RTX 4070 10 GB version should include the AD104-250 with 56 streaming multiprocessors, 7168 cudacores, of course 10 GB of GDDR6X memory operating at 21 Gbps, 160 bit of memory bus, and 420 Gb/s of memory bandwidth, all with a TDP of 250 W.
Lastly, the RTX 4060 should has the full AD104-310 GPU with 36 streaming multiprocessors, 4608 cuda cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory operating at 18 Gbps, 128 bit of memory bus, and 432 Gb/ s of memory bandwidth. and a tdp of more 220W.
The specifications of RTX 4050 have not already declared.
The RTX 4090, the high range model of Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series graphic cards, has been released on October.
Now, will be the turn of RTX 4080, infact the release date of this latter is scheduled for current month, mere specifically at November 16.
Will follow, the RTX 4070 on December, and the RTX 4060 on Januray 2023, and on the same month maybe also the RTX 4070 Ti.
Instead, the RTX 4050 release date remaining unknown.
