5Level 5 is a company that has a lot of respect in the games industry. Known for making such gems as Ni No Kuni, or the Professor Layton series, they had to start somewhere! And somewhere they did start, with Dark Cloud on the PS2. A game with pretty staggering production quality given this was practically a launch title, and its sequel only upping the ante entirely, Level 5 made put themselves on the map immediately with this title.
This company did so well with its initial titles of Dark Cloud 1 & 2, that SquareEnix hired them to make Dragon Quest 8! They did so well they were also the creators of DQ9, and the 16-bit mode of DQ11 as well. Check out their game list to see everything they have done.
