3The next match in the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 CPU Tournament! This tournament is being held early on in the game's lifecycle and there may be some kinks to work out yet. I'll be taking notes as I watch and see if anything needs tweaking.
I noticed the fights in the first round taking a lot longer than usual for these kinds of games. The last patch notes did mention trying to make it harder to achieve knockouts. So I dropped the number of lives per fighter from 5 to 3. Now it matters more when the AI KOs itself out of dumbness, unfortunately, but this is the balance that works best for now.
Special Tournament Rules for matches with 3-4 competitors...
1. The last competitor standing (or 'Survivor') automatically advances to the next round.
2. The competitor with the highest KO score also advances to the next round.
3. If there is a tie for most KOs, everyone who got that highest score will advance - unless...
4. If the survivor also ties for highest score then only the survivor advances.
