Run 10 of Assembling My Starter Save (Details in the Description)
0In this Video, I load my Save and hunt for the Phoenix in Vigilante. After 20 minutes go by, I finally find it!
Don't ask where Run 8 and 9 is. I didn't record them. Run 8 was 50 Snapshots in San Fierro and Run 9 was just like you see in this Run, except getting the NE NRG-500 to spawn.
It's sort of bizarre how I found the Euros, Hotknife, and Phoenix all on this same road during Vigilante. It's also bizarre how lucky I am getting because I am not even traveling to all of the Vehicles that spawn. I get sick and tired of driving around the Map and then eventually into the Country because the game spawns things so far away from you at times. So I just keep canceling Vigilante and activating it over and over until something spawns near me. I didn't do this back on PS2, but I started doing it a few days ago and thought it might be better or quicker, and it seems to be true. All I did was this FOUR separate times and after 26 to 41 minutes would go by (the lowest and highest length of my previously recorded Videos), I would reload and on the fourth time through doing this, I found it. Did something similar on PS2, as well, and I found it on PS2 twice. This is now my third time in total obtaining it from Vigilante.
Lol at the FIRST Vehicle to spawn being the FCR-900. Why wasn't it NE, though? That sometimes happens and I don't know what causes it. Yesterday, in Run 9, I found the NE FCR-900, NE BF-400, and then finally, the NE NRG-500. All of them spawned as the first Vehicle and all of them spawned NE first time I saw them without any issues.
I actually never did ALL 50 Snapshots in one go, within the same Run on PS2 and I did that yesterday for this PC Starter Save. I used 65 total Photos, though, while there is only 50 Snapshots to take. This is recorded in the Stats. It seemed so much easier than doing it on PS2, of course, as well.
Anyways, all that is left is Test Track, 50 Horseshoes, 48 Oysters, and 3 Rare Vehicles (Turismo, Sandking, Seasparrow). Also, as you can see, it's MONDAY in-game right now! So finally, I can do that nonsense Test Track first thing and get it over with. It's why I saved the game at Verdant Bluffs; so I can load my Save, go directly to the Airport, get in the Shamal, and crash land at the Stadium in Las Venturas and get it done first thing followed by all the basic Horseshoes that do not require any Plane/Helicopter. That will be Run 11 and I won't record it, either. With that said, I MIGHT record ONE MORE Run before finishing the Starter Save in full and before uploading the Bonus Video, but I am not sure. Just have to wait and see. For instance, the FINAL Run COULD BE a handful of RANDOM Horseshoes/Oysters followed by acquiring the Seasparrow or Sandking or something and saving for the final time. I just have to see how tomorrow's Run goes before I can plan out the final few Runs. I saved 10 times thus far. My goal was 12, won't happen, but 13 might be possible. But even this doesn't seem likely, and more like 14 or even 15. I got 15 on PS2. If I could just do 14, I'd be please with it. It's going to be close. Should NOT be more than 15, though. That's for sure. Think about how many I could do it in WITHOUT any Rare Vehicles? That's the whole reason I am saving more than I want and the whole reason why some of the Runs are much harder than they need to be. Lol at all the noobs skipping this aspect of the game and just getting stuff later on from Races and from Traffic and then converting it all to AP and then thinking it's anything special in the end.
Stay tuned for MAYBE one more Run Video before the Bonus Video OR just the Bonus Video. I hope to FINISH in full by Friday, but Monday seems more likely. Remember, due to insane amount of work hours over the weekends, I also never even touch GTA. If I would, then I'd finish Saturday, but since I don't, I won't finish until Monday with putting the finishing touches on it. Monday would be the 11th day playing from starting at 0% and from scratch. Right on schedule. Didn't I see 10-14 days and it would be done? Of course I did.
