I'm really not joking when I say this is the most anime game I have ever played, a perfect shounen route.
The village management is not overbearing. You can overlook it most of the time, but if you devote time to it, you won't regret the bonus it gives. Also, there's a ton of stuff to craft and decorate. The bonding system is simple and cute, too.
The combat is fluid, a bit clunky with the bow but manageable. Don't forget to craft new weaps, the power boost is insane!
