(So we just finished our third Let's Play.
And of course Rune forgot to say something about the actual game. So typical.
Seems I have to take over.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs can't really be compared with the first Amnesia game. In my opinion the second season had its focus more on the story, not on atmosphere and gameplay issues. The Dark Descent seemed like a different genre and Rune apparently thought this one would be quite similar. Well, it wasn't. I don't say that A Machine for Pigs isn't a good game, of course it was kinda scary and gripping, and I liked the story very much and the atmosphere regarded separately was perfectly-fitting too. But playing it just had a different feeling.
If you generally look for a good atmosphere horror survival game I'd definitely recommend Amnesia: A Dark Descent. Everyone should've played that one too if he or she already played the "second season".
