Runescape Fremennik Saga Thok It To 'Em part 4 of 5 Home Room, Exiles, and Last Optional
2Currently the last saga. In the saga, you play Thok as he attempts to find a healer for his brother Marmaros.
You need 59 dungeoneering and 70 str to find the Scribbled Note needed to unlock the saga. The note appears on f30-35.
The saga rewards 37080 Dungeoneering XP and 3708 tokens.
The unabridged version rewards 75765 str xp.
To get the unabridged version, you need to kill four optional bosses during the saga (each is behind a locked door needing a key).
When the saga starts, you control Marmaros as he and Thok battle Stomp the behemoth. The fight is easy, defeat him as you normally would by finding crystal stones and charging the loadstones to his sides. The only trouble is that sometimes only one crystal spawns or a boulder crashes in front of a loadstone.
After the third wave of crystal loading, control switches to Thok as Marmaros is taken out by a boulder.
As Thok, use the dungeon ladder to face the next boss, which is Shadowforger.
The fight is easy. Unleash your special attacks and hide behind the pillars if Shadowforger starts to glow.
Once he is defeated, you're stuck exploring the dungeon looking for a friendly skinweaver and killing whatever is in your way (except for the ferret of doom).
Kill your way past the silver crescent door, the crimson rectangle door, and to the blue triangle door. Along the way, feel free to fish at a water spot to make a new friend in Mini-Marm the Heim Crab.
At the blue triangle door, you'll find the silver crescent key. Continue forward until you find the Home room and pickup the crimson rectangle key. Backtrack to the silver crest door.
The Silver Crest door leads to a monolith puzzle. After the monolith is charged, continue to face Saggitare the archer boss. Easy fight, but back-off when he says so in order to prevent too much damage.
Once he's dead, enter the crimson rectangle door to find a rune tile puzzle. Flip 2 tiles and try a third. With the third, Thok manages to flip all tiles to a matching color. Pickup the blue triangle key and open the door unlocked by the tiles to find Rammernaut.
The only danger is Rammer's charge and stun attacks. To negate his charging, lure him to a corner and run if he tries it. He will be forced to turn into a wall and crash due to him being near a corner.
After Rammer is dead, open the blue triangle door to face the Stalwart behemoth. Take a pickaxe from a boulder, break his armour by attacking him with it, and kill him. Return to the home room.
Take the rune essence from the table. The essence can be used to make Body Runes by using it on the runecrafting table. Body runes are able to raise Thok's special attack energy.
Continue from the home room into a Ramokee Exile room. Kill the Skinweaver first, followed by the Stormbringer, Bloodravager, and Deathslinger.
Continue to find an orange shield key and an Enigmatic Hoardstalker.
Open the orange shield door to kill the Riftspiltter (your last optional boss). Riftsplitter is very dangerous. Do your best to avoid Miasma and Flame portals.
After Riftsplitter is dead, deal with the Enigmatic. Thok scares him off and discovers that the friendly skinweaver is in the next room. Trouble is that she's trapped by a Warped Gulega.
Lure the Gulega close to the Skinweaver by getting its attention and exiting the room. With it close to her, you can kill it without fearing death since she rapidly heals you.
When Gulega is dead, you can lead the Skinweaver to Marmaros through dialogue. The Skinweaver will report that Marmaros needs something to numb his pain. Thok ascends Daemonheim to face the Luminescent Ice fiend.
The boss is easy as long as you avoid and/or don't heal during the icicle barrage. The barrage is incapable of killing you, so if you get caught up in it, don't heal until it is over or you would just have wasted food.
After the fiend is dead, the saga is pretty much over. Click through the dialogue until you get your completion screen and tomes.
