The battle through the caves is made easier by the fact that each chamber is checkpoint. Once all monsters in a chamber are dead, the game saves your progress, and prevents monster respawns up to that chamber.

You will be fighting lava monsters/animals, so crush style attacks work very well. The biggest threats in the chambers are the Lava Monsters and Ket-Zeks. Pray against mage when you see them. Having a range weapon will be useful for dealing with the Ket-Zeks.

You will also need rune pickaxe or better to slay the Ket-Dils (armadillos). The pick is needed to bust their armor, and they are super weak to crush attacks. Do no pray against melee while it is armored, or it will spam its stomp-boulder-summon attack.

In the first chamber, pick up the journal from the skeleton at the entrance cave to the second chamber. The journal contains a note that gives you a rough idea about the Tzhaar numbering system.
You will need it for the Chamber 3 puzzle.

The puzzle needs you to translate symbols and words in order to figure out how much Tokkul to place on two scales. If your math is bad or you mis-translate, you will be hit for roughly 300 LPs. Unfortunately, I read on Runescape Wikia that the correct number of Tokkul is different between most players. I'm sorry, but you're pretty much on your own figuring out the math and translation.

After the scales, continue forward until you reach the Kiln. Reaching the Kiln will trigger battle against seven waves of TokHaar. Luckily, the fight about the TokHaar is safe in that dying won't make you lose items, but you'll have to restart the waves if you die and re-enter.

Be careful when you see a mage or melee type TokHaar. Pray against them. Try to trap the melee fighters behind walls or other TokHaar, and make sure to take out the mage first if you have to choose between attacking it or a ranger.

On Wave 7, a TokHaar champion appears. Trap him somehow, and take care of the mage and ranger. Once you can fight him 1-on-1, do so, but be aware that he drains prayer once in a while, so kill him fast.

Afterwards, the quest is pretty much done. Have TokHaar-Hok help your Ga'al friend. After a few cutscenes/dialogue, run back to Tzhaar city and speak with Jeh at the plaza.

The quest is complete when Jeh and Ak are happy/hopeful, and Ga'al flees back to Hok.

Afterwards, you get a ring that improves the damage you may deal against Tzhaar and lava monsters, and you may access the Fight Kiln if you sacrifice a fire cape to Hok.

The Fight Kiln is 37 waves of grueling combat. If you manage to beat it, you get a cape that ties with the Completionist cape as the best cape stat-wise in Runescape.

If you manage to reach Wave 30 of the Kiln before February 29th and die, you won't be rewarded with the cape, but you will get a 70K XP lamp, which is nice.
