As I’ve mentioned in the past, I like to run my big band like I would a small group. By that I mean I like to be flexible with starting tunes, adding solo sections to tunes that might not have them, extending existing solo sections as well as adding introductions to various tunes. This keeps me and the band engaged in the music and wondering what might happen next. This time I decided to use the band introduction music that the rhythm section set up and merge it into the next tune. Enjoy.
