Running a Hotel in Santorini: Hotel Architect Early Access Playthrough
7A playthrough of the Santorini scenario in Hotel Architect. I skipped the Gothenburg scenario because it is basically the same as the demo I played several months ago. In this playthrough, I completed all the main objectives in Santorini, including building a bar and upgrading rooms to fit the needs of sunbathers and brats. Also, I built more rooms for backpackers to complete optional objectives.
I do like being able to customize the hotel and build more areas. Also, I like being able to speed up time because after a while, I was just waiting for the critic to come. A lot depends on the critic. The critic increases the star rating of the hotel. In this scenario, you start with 2 stars, and you need 3 stars to get sunbathers to come stay. Then you need 4 stars for brats to stay. Also, you get research points after the critic review. This is one change from earlier playtests, and I do not like it because you have to choose wisely what to research, because specific research is required for the objectives. That said, I am curious to play the Paris and St Anton scenarios.
