Distant Early Warning by Rush, drum cover by From Nowhere.

For the past year and a half, my life has been consumed learning Rush's music because i started playing in a Rush tribute (https://af2ktribute.com), with the goal of being as sonically accurate and faithful to the original material as possible. I wasn't learning any of this with the intention of making videos, moreso gearing everything for live performance, which drastically changes my practice and learning approach. Mostly i have to learn stuff in a way that lets me retain long term and perform consistently, rather than in a way that lets me get one good take then forget it. Since i'm learning it all anyway though, might as well make some videos so I have something to share here as i continue to figure out what to do with this channel (and my Twitch) moving forward. I'm definitely in the right mindset finally to get back into content creation.

Been recording short drum clips and posting them on my social media for a while (Follow me there by the way, links below!), and that was the intention when i started recording this as well, mosty to show off the electronics because they're new to the setup. Then i kept going. Then i realized i recorded the whole song. Then i added more camera angles.

...then i realized I'm playing the middle part wrong because i was watching a video of Neil while uploading. Derp. Oh well, just means i'll have to record it again in the future!
