So, there are some neat moves. The big guy has a few different throws, which is nice. That is, until I realized that the throws didn't seem to be doing that much damage and I was better off just mashing jab all day. That's a shame.

Anyway, the game is SUPER fucking wonky, my god. Also, it's ugly as sin. Like, it didn't look good (visually) in the trailers but I thought maybe it would look better when playing it. No such luck. Gotta wonder what kinda budget they were working with.

The controls are also pretty messy. It does not have the elegance of SOR4/Fightn' Rage's controls at all.

I'll probably get it at some point when it releases, but on sale. It's okay. We still have Absolum, that Marvel Cosmic game, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and Shinobi. There are plenty of great 2D action games releasing.
