If you're new to RUST on Playstation or Xbox Consoles or PC, it can be a little confusing about what to do when you want to save and exit the game. When you exit, remembering to add the Server to your favourites, your character just curls up into a ball and goes to sleep.
This means that if you're out in the open, anyone can simply run up, loot your stuff and kill you with a rock. That's why it's important to at the very least log off hidden in a bush, and preferably safely inside your base.
By crafting Sleeping Bags, you're creating respawn points you can voluntarily use, or take advantage of if you're killed!
