From snowballing with a bow to roaming with an m249 we manage to successfully counter three raids and all from using what I think is the best solo attachment in the game.. This is the hidden secret to why you may not be snowballing as much as you think you should. It only costs 5 HQM and also sits in the Work bench 1 which is easily attainable.
