Rygar Video Walkthrough
216At the request of Jamie, a good friend of mine, I made a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the NES game Rygar.
Before you say anything, I know I should have used the power up spell as soon as I could since it sticks with you until you die. I suppose it could have helped a little bit before the first boss, but it's not like it was really needed before I remembered to actually use it.
There were a few rooms I entered just for kicks (or perhaps I had a brain fart when it came to which direction to go and since the door was there, I figured I would enter it...You'll never know...Muhahahaha...) There are some rooms that also refill your life. I think I missed a few, but I'm pretty sure at those times I didn't need to go to them.
You'll notice during one boss fight I decide to climb down the floor using the grapple and then climb back up. The reason was so the boss ends up lower than it should be, which makes it easier to kill. There is supposed to be some glitch for the first boss fight, but I'm not quite sure what it was, so I didn't bother trying to learn it before attempting the video.
