Ryse Son of Rome | Series S | 1440p | Longplay Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary
Full game longplay of Ryse Son of Rome, xbox one version, played via backwards compatibility on my Xbox Series S, it is not enhanced or optimised for X/S or anything, just a base game playing better and with 16x texture filtering. Neat enough.
Premise is very short and sweet. War, fight, blood, and surprisingly, no sex. Oh, and during barbarian conquests on the roman empire times. Perhaps some similar names come up, but don't think they are at all truthful historically. But it isn't what it's about! It's a straight up third person cmbat game, the likes of God of War. It is by no means a wonderful or complex game. It is a very simple, beat them (but not up) game. There is a lot of repetetiveness, both in enemies, your character's moves, less so in locations. They are absolutely beautiful. Cryengine 3 for christ's sake. I very much enjoyed the whole game, and the story too. One great, no-thinking-needed, short fun.
If you enjoyed the game as much as I did, and it was one of the best games to record in the last few months for me, consider giving that awesome Like, and maybe even subscribing to the channel, for more retro-or-not-so-much games, gameplays from my Series S, and also some from Backwards Compatibility program, which Ryse sure is! Thanks for watching and reading, everyone!
