========================================================================
Full game longplay of The Sum of All Fears, an unknown and not-famous-enough sort of spin-off and a mix of both great Ubisoft's tactical fps series, Rainbows Six and Ghost Recon, running on the engine of Ghost Recon 1. Neat. Note: This is a much older video, so bitrate and resolution of the game might be a bit lacking in those aspects, but I figure since this is my main channel now, then this is it's place now!
The game was released in 2002, for NGC, PS2 and PC, this being the PC version. Honestly the biggest downside is it's longevity, to beat the campaign I only needed two hours. Well, I guess that's what happens to games based on movies, you're kinda stuck to its plot. But overall, it feels like the only mixture of Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon 1, and the best one at that. You even got that auto-aim thingy from R6 implemented. There is a map added in bottom middle of the screen similar to R6, rest of UI looks like taken and colorized from GR1. Honestly, I wish there were more of Ghost Recon 1 Engine games, than just GR1, Desert Siege, Jungle Storm, Island Thunder, and The Sum of All Fears. It's an engine that can create low poly, but huge maps, that still do look quite striking when played in higher resolutions, like 1080p and beyond. Be sure to turn off the mipmaping tho.
Well it's been a long time ago, but I gather I've enojyed playing it very much, and hopefully you enjoyed watching it too, if you haven't already on my old channel. The video there got to almost 2000 views. So, if you enjoyed watching it now and me playing it (doubt that tho), consider hitting that Like buton, and maybe even subscribing to the channel, for more of old retro/a bit more modern longplays, which is pretty much all I intend! Thanks very much for watching and for reading this too!
