Rythm is ending service soon
Hey everyone, today I have some unfortunate news to announce, Youtube has sent us a notice asking us to shut down our service. In order to comply, Rythm will be shutting down on 15 September 2021 23:00.
Rythm was founded by me back in 2016, originally as a small project just for me and a few friends, but it grew to become much much more than that - becoming the biggest bot on Discord, bringing music & joy to over 20 million communities
I honestly never expected it to grow this big, but watching it grow and be enjoyed by so many people has just been incredible. Rythm has always been and will continue to be a passion of mine and will always be a significant part of my life
Fun fact: “Never gonna give you up” by Rick Astley was played on Rythm over 35 million times. We all know what that means
The future of Rythm
Even though our current service is shutting down, we’re not going anywhere. We’ve spent the last year working on something brand new in the music space that will revolutionize how we all listen to music.
