This is a Ryu mvc2 beginners guide.

Who is Ryu?
Ryu is a Capcom character. He is from the Street Fighter franchise. He is Gouken's student and Ken's Best Friend and rival.
In MVC2, he is zoning character with an emphasis on controlling space with his fireball.

Ryu is considered to be the "Plain Potato Chips" out of the shoto style fighters. Out of the street Fighters, I consider him to have the best fireball since its full screen range, and it has a very large hitbox.
While Ryu doesn't excel in rush downs and combo execution, he's has talents in the zoning department.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is a retro fighting game that is ran on Sega's NAOMI system game engine. It was first released back February 24, 2000 for the arcades then ported to the Sega Dreamcast then PlayStation 2 sometime later.
