Ryzen 9950X3D CPU Usage with CPPC Preferred Cores.. Driver, Frequency, Cache
3 Games tested with the three preferred core profiles on the Ryzen 9950X3D.
These profiles are within my BIOS, as well as a AUTO setting but mine is typically set to AMD Chipset Driver choice when I use my 16 Core workloads.
Settings for the 16 Core 32 Thread used here today..
XMP/EXPO + 200 PBO, -15 Curve Optimizer Allcore
(not my everyday settings I just used them for this video)

Tested...
Cache - 3D preferred in workloads
Frequency - Higher clocked cores are preferred in workloads
Driver - AMD Chipset software will determine and select the preferred cores.
Also... The Cinebench multithreaded application workload does go to 100% on every core in every profile.
The DUAL CCD approach is how every buyer would be running it, without any special BIOS tweaks but I was curious how these options would differ in a few gaming scenarios.
With the Dual CCD's in use, the game bar app that AMD recommends keeping enabled and even the app Project Lasso cannot fully stop dual CCD communication fully,, some parked cores can still be activated by games, resulting in reduced performance at times...albiet typically minor behind the 9800X3D, sometimes beating it still due to higher clockspeeds vs that CPU.
