The Last of Us Part 2 Ryzen 9950X3D Stock vs Overclocked Benchmarks in the City Area
The Last of Us Part II Remastered, comparing the 9950x3D with 3D CCD Only. PBO disabled and XMP/EXPO RAM only versus a more tuned setup profile I have created, so see if there is any benefit on a game by game basis. I chose this area,..because it's the open areas other Youtuber's are benchmarking, I have made a simple path to follow for repeated runs.
Resizable Bar aka REBAR is OFF as it's now known to cause issues in this game.
Both of my DDR5 profiles are shown at the beginning you can pause and look them over...
I am running my Ryzen 9950X3D in Game Mode (8C16T) directly from the BIOS disabling CCD1 leaving CCD0/3D cores active only for my gaming workloads as it does away with any need for software trickery like GameBar or Project Lasso.
Two optimized settings for the PC, XMP Only, CCD1 Disabled.
As with the Dual CCD's in use, the game bar app AMD recommends and even Project Lasso app cannot fully stop dual CCD communication fully, resulting in reduced performance, so I created this 3D only CCD profile.
