0This isn't Warhammer, no matter how much you think it is. But I gotta say the aesthetic really has some Warhammer feels. We're talking about eldritch beasts from a dimension beyond our comprehension, various factions of daemons from yet more planes beyond those, swords and sorcery and guns???
Grim Dawn has a really fun character development path that lets you combine two different classes to create more specialized or dynamic builds depending on how you want to play. It's also got the best secrets in its map design I've ever seen in an action RPG, although this comes at the cost of knowing what the map layout will be after successive playthroughs due to not having procedurally generated maps. I like Grim Dawn, and hilariously only recently beat the main campaign after parking my character at the final boss without knowing it for a 4 year hiatus.
There's a couple new expansions that have come out since I last played, including the upcoming Grim Dawn: Fangs of Asterkarn! I'm probably going to consider going through the other DLC campaigns first but maybe we'll have to tackle this soon~
