Saga Frontier Remastered Final Boss Red: Boss X
7Surprise the fortress itself was the final boss. Or at least the glowy red thing.
Personally I would have swapped the names of Boss X and Black X but it's not that important.
Physic prison can be helpful as while the boss only has one magic attack to my knowledge it does a lot of damage to anyone that isn't Red.
Attack wise he's got an attack he never showed where he chews up a party member and spits them out doing about 400 HP worth of damage and absorbing said damage as well.
Otherwise this fight honestly isn't that bad if you survive the first 3 or so turns. Get an arcane shield going and throw vitality rune on red and Boss X will have a very hard time killing you it will just take a good long while. The other dinguses however are gonna have to try a bit and I think it makes things more fun instead of just having red spam double vertical and basically tuning out for 45 minutes. Plus while I swore off using a certain overpowered move for this campaign it's just entertaining to watch Liza Suplex a giant alien.
Also I never used this party before but it was a lot of fun.
After finishing the game you can save your clear data and Fuse will hop down into the character selection garden. I am not entirely sure if unlocking Fuse requires only beating your first campaign or if you have to have to actually recruit fuse then win. Regardless I hope you all enjoyed and I'll probably continue to upload trails of cold steel 4 videos after this as I'm having people vote for which campaigns I do next. Spoiler alert I'm saving Asellus and Fuse for last as they have the new content and not just some extra dialogue.
