[SAGExpo 2023] XF Extreme Formula Demo
3It's F-Zero, made by LakeFeperd, the guy behind Before & After The Sequel and the Spark Trilogy, what more is there to say? This is his 3rd game made in 3D and it looks absolutely stunning, god damn.
Okay, so, much like Aero GPX, your health and boost meters are separate, but besides hull, you also have fuel to deal with, as it is always burning down and you have no hull/fuel restore spots, only boost restores.
The boost mechanics are based on your speed, besides the Overboosting from F-Zero, you also have a RAM meter, which makes your boost recharge when going fast. You also cannot use boost when underwater or in the space vacuum, where it drains, so your non-boost top speed when you enter those areas is all you get, otherwise one screw up and you're going to the bottom of the leaderboard.
