This is the track I made such a big deal about with the post yesterday. It's a very Orion inspired track, in a similar vein as the Metallica song. Ironically, I'm releasing this on my birthday (today, March 7th), and Sagittarius isn't even my star sign. I'm a Pisces. But Sagittarius sounded cool, so I stuck with this.
I've been sitting on this chord progression for a while. Or at least, the chromatically descending chord progression. If you must know (without downloading it through being a level 2 patron), the chord progression is: Bbmadd11, F7/A, Abm6, Gø, Gbmaj7, Ab7, (Gbmaj7, Dbmaj7/Ab) or (Fsus4, F). Like I said, a chromatically descending chord progression, in the key of Bb Minor. It's one of my favorites I've written. Also featuring my favorite chord, Gbmaj7.
The song flirts with the idea of two musical ideas working against each other and eventually finding a common ground to play together. I didn't show that in the video (specifically because I'm not good at stuff like that), so I just recorded basically the way I normally do. I had a lot of fun with this. I hope you enjoy! :)
