Sailor Moon SayS: RESTORE ROE
16Yes, I am a mom-to-be. And that means it's not just about me anymore. It means I need to think about my baby's future. When my child comes into this world, I want them to know that whatever they decide for their bodies, I will have their back, especially if nobody else will. I've watched women die from pregnancy complications. I've grown up with girls under the age of 14 who got forced into pregnancy by grown men and wound up in horrible shape. Growing up, I had a neighbor who was a mom at 11 and got no help from her family. I can't let any of this be the world waiting for my baby. I want my baby to make their own choices, free from any stranger's "beliefs". I can't be selfish. If they want birth control options that I didn't see coming, if they want to decide on who they see in the mirror and how that person looks, I want to be my child's first supporter no matter what.
