Saints Row 2022 is a reboot for the series but still holds some flair that the original series had while reworking it for a more modern approach to the Saints with a new crew and new city. Saints Row 2022 takes place in a city called Santo Ileso a city out in a desert region where there are a few different criminal groups and a mercenary private military. In this series you still get to create your own boss but you start as someone working for the mercenary group Marshals and then branch out to working for yourself and building yourself a crew and eventually an organization. With you on this journey is your three closest friends Neenah, Kevin, and Eli. Each of your friends has their own strengths and weaknesses but all with something they bring to the table. As you build your criminal organization you will have jobs for money and different activities to do through the city as you aim to take the city from the opposing factions and create the one and only Saints.
First DLC for the Saints Row 2022 Season Pass opens up a new area with new missions and a new activity. The new area opened up is Sunshine Springs, a small area but with a nice hot springs feel that has more buildings of luxury and residences of the rich. The DLC missions open by taking on a million dollar bounty and after succeeding on the bounty the Saints prepare for an elaborate heist to get what they are deserved.
