Saints Row IV Final mission gameplay | Punch the Shark | Grand Finale | #28
The mission starts off with Playa talking to Kinzie. She tells them to pick a pair who will go with them on the first part of the mission. This part of the mission involves defending the Key from Zin forces With an Alien RPG while the player's Homies drive the vehicle. The player is required to take out roadblocks and shoot tanks and UFOs that attack the vehicle. Once the player arrives at the Syndicate Tower they must defend CID while he opens the door then use telekinesis to move the key.
The Punch the Shark quest is split into four different missions.
The first three Missions have a choice between 3 pairs of Homies: Johnny Gat and Ben King, Pierce and Shaundi, Matt and Asha - any of those may be homies during this Mission, but each pair can only be used once for the entire Quest.
The second mission of the quest involves travelling to three different portals with the next set of homies. The first two portals must be defended while Kinzie hacks into them. Once she is finished on each portal, things from those homies nightmares come through but are friendly.
Depending on the pair of homies taken for this mission, the reinforcements are the following:
Matt and Asha: Cybermen and Murderbots.
Johnny Gat and Ben King: Ronin and Vice Kings.
Pierce and Shaundi: Saints Flow mascots and Sons of Samedi.
At the final portal, Playa is alone to fight the Zin. Once the portal is ready, Paul comes through and starts attacking the Zin. Soon the simulation starts to break down, and Playa finds the exit gateways are locked. Once a working gateway is loacted, the simulation glitches out and "resets" to a version of the Saints Row main menu. The mission ends after clicking continue.

The third mission of the quest takes part on Zinyak's ship as Playa boards with his final set of two homies. Playa fights through waves of Zin until they reach a locked door. One homies volunteers to hack into it so Playa must defend them with their other homie against oncoming Murderbots and Zin. Once they are done Playa orders them to get back to the ship while they go into the armoury and find power armour which gives them their powers back.
The end of this mission part involves Playa flying through a large vent. Playa must avoid lasers and debris, where a blast shield blocks the path for Playa and the Saints Spaceship from passing. The Protagonst has to destroy blast shield locks and continue navigating the vent to reach the throne room.
This fight is separated into four stages and a quick time event at the end.
During the first stage, Zinyak moves around the map in a giant mech suit, standing on one of the platforms around the edge of the map. After standing on a platform for a while, he flies to another platform while attacking. If Playa is not on Zinyak's platform, he fires large explosive laser blasts at a rapid rate in Playa's direction. If Playa shares the platform with Zinyak, he uses a powerful stomp attack in an attempt to knock Playa off the platform.
In the second stage, Zinyak surrounds himself with a barrier and exploding CIDs on the central platform. The only way to damage Zinyak is to catch him in the explosion radius of a CID. Playa is encouraged to use Telekinesis to hurl CIDs through the barrier, and can do so either from the center platform or one of the side platforms, the latter of which is much safer but much slower. It is encouraged to use Force element, as the CIDs detonate if they take too much damage.
In the third stage, the shield generators manifest, as well as a swarm of portals which spawn Zin and Murderbots. The Saints also arrive on Xors and aid Playa in battle. This stage is cleared by disabling the generators.
The final stage is similar to the first stage, but with all of the enemies and allies from previous stages in battle.
