Check out part 3 of my Xclusive Playthrough series featuring the A Song of Ice and Dust DLC within the game Saints Row. This game released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles on August 23rd, 2022 and it is considered a reboot of Saints Row series. It was developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver.

In this video, the Boss has to take part in the Dustfaire Games in order to purchase a Speak with the Dead Potion and learn more about the Chill Queen.

Saints Row is an open-world, action-adventure game which is also reboot of the Saints Row series. This game revolves around the creation and rise of the fictional gang known as "The Saints (they have also been referred to as "The 3rd Street Saints" in past entries) and it's set in an entirely new setting known as Santo Ileso (which is supposed to be located in the American southwest and loosely based on city of Las Vegas, Nevada. At the start of the game the player is shown The Saints in their prime having a huge party at their main headquarters (HQ) and shortly after the player is able to create/customize their character (or "Boss"). After the desired character is created (followed by a few more events which I will not discuss in order to avoid minor spoilers) the game jumps back a few months back and essentially plays out the origin story of "The Boss". In this part of the game, "The Boss" is a rookie member of the private military corporation known as the "Marshall Defense Industries" (which also happens to be one of the game's enemy gangs). Initially, The Boss is just trying to make ends-meet by working paycheck to paycheck, but eventually they realize that they're not satisfied with being someone else's lackey and so they decide to venture out and start their own business in the form of The Saints Row gang. The Boss gathers their closest friends which are comprised of three people: Kevin (a DJ that is a part of the Idols gang at the start of the game), Neenah (a skilled mechanic who is a part of the Los Panteros at the start of the game) and Eli (a business entrepreneur with an MBA that plans out all of the Boss' gang's activities). Each of them play a vital role in the ultimate goal of taking out the other gangs (the Idols, the Los Panteros and the Marshalls), securing all of the districts within the city of Santo Ileso and becoming criminal masterminds.

The gameplay in this game is very similar to past entries in the series. I would say that this game fits somewhere between Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third with regards to its theme, content, gameplay, activities and humor. It has a more serious tone than some of the most recent entries, but still has fun with some of the topics that it includes while also ensuring to include that Saints Row humor from past entries. Just like past entries, this game is completely open-world and once the player completes the introduction and the tutorial they are free to do pretty much whatever they want: explore the city at their leisure, complete some of the game's side missions/activities or even just cause all-out mayhem and destruction. The game also places a heavy focus (as you would expect) on combat and driving both of which feel very similar to past entries (although I will say that the combat does feel like it should've been a little bit more fine-tuned).

Finally, with regards to the achievements in this game: Saints Row (Reboot) includes a total of 50 achievements for a total of 1000 GS. The achievements here are pretty similar to past entries and none of them are missable. The campaign will most likely take around 15-25 hours to complete, but nabbing all of the achievements may take anywhere between 80-100 hours. It includes achievements that run the gamut (everything from story-based achievements to collectible based achievements and even some miscellaneous ones).
