I recently played the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles video game and was excited to see that it included a battle between Sakonji Urokodaki and Makomo. However, after playing through the fight, I was disappointed with the overall experience.\n\nFirst, I found the controls to be clunky and unresponsive at times, making it difficult to execute certain moves and combos. This led to frustration and took away from the immersion of the game.\n\nAdditionally, the graphics and animations were lackluster. While the character models were accurate, the movements and attacks felt stiff and robotic. This was especially noticeable during the battle between Sakonji and Makomo, where the fluidity of their fighting styles was not captured.\n\nThe AI of the opponents also left much to be desired. Makomo's movements were predictable and she often repeated the same attacks, making the battle feel repetitive and boring. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more variety in her moves and if the AI was more challenging.\n\nFurthermore, the lack of a tutorial or training mode made it difficult to learn and master the different characters and their abilities. As a result, I felt like I was button-mashing rather than strategically planning my attacks.\n\nWhile I appreciate the effort to include a variety of characters from the series, the overall gameplay and mechanics of the game were not up to par. The lack of depth and polish in the game made it a disappointing experience.\n\nHowever, I did enjoy the cutscenes and storytelling elements of the game, which stayed true to the original anime. The voice acting and dialogue were well done and added to the immersion of the game.\n\nIn conclusion, while I was excited to see a battle between Sakonji and Makomo in the game, the overall gameplay and mechanics fell short of my expectations.
