Sam Haskell Jr. Faces Triple Murder Charges in Los Angeles
Samuel Bond Haskell IV, 35, son of a former prominent Hollywood agent, is currently facing three counts of murder for the alleged killings of his wife, Mei Haskell, and her parents, Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshan Li. The family lived together in Tarzana, California, along with the couple’s three young children.
The case gained national attention in November 2023 after a dismembered torso—later identified as Mei’s—was discovered in a dumpster in Encino. Surveillance footage reportedly captured Haskell disposing of a large bag, and prior to that, he allegedly hired day laborers to remove several heavy bags from his home. The workers returned the bags after suspecting they contained human remains.
In his first court appearance, Haskell was seen shirtless and wearing an anti-suicide smock, raising questions about his mental state. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held without bail. If convicted, he could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The remains of Mei’s parents have yet to be found, and the investigation is still ongoing. Meanwhile, the couple’s children are in the care of other family members as the community awaits justice in this deeply disturbing case.
