I'm probably in the minority, but I was a huge fan of Samba de Amigo games! As a music aficionado from a very young age, I bought almost every rhythm game since the early 2000's & this particular game definitely stuck out as one of the most unique gaming experiences. Much like Donkey Konga's bongo controllers, I was a massive fan of the maraca controllers!! ๐Ÿช‡

And not just that, he even sang & duplicated his voicing for the epic choir section at the end!!! Talk about TALENT!! Flash back 23 years to the year 2000 โ€“ not only was there GameCube, Xbox & PlayStation 2...remember the notorious Dreamcast? That's right, this game released on the Sega Dreamcast console on October 17, 2000!

Samba de Janeiro is a song produced by Bellini, and is the notable theme song for Samba de Amigo games as this song plays during the opening cutscene for Dreamcast & Wii. Samba de Janeiro is featured in crossover games such as Sega Superstars Tennis and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing! Footage includes the original 2000's opening cutscene & various trailers for the new Samba de Amigo: Party Central game!
