I was digging through NSF archives of FDS music, and I found a great samba in track 3 of this Backgammon game. It's the title screen music. The game is by Nintendo R&D, 1990. The composer is Koichi Sugiyama, who is also honorary chairman of the Japanese Backgammon Society.

Please pardon my poor backgammon skills. I know the rules, but don't know any strategy.

There is backgammon in Canada, but we call it peameal-gammon.
