Two baseball players became famous for being almost perfect look-alikes. Their names are both Brady Feigl, and they are not related. The strangest part is that they share the same height of 6 feet 4 inches, have red hair, red beards, and wear similar glasses. When people see them side by side, it looks like they could be twins.
The coincidences do not stop there. Both players are pitchers in minor league baseball. Even more oddly, both had the same surgery on their arms, called Tommy John surgery, and the exact same doctor performed it. At one point, the doctor’s office even confused the two because of their identical names.
Because they looked so similar, many people thought they had to be related. To settle the question, the two Brady Feigls took a DNA test. The results showed that they are not brothers, cousins, or any kind of family. The only link they share is about 53% German ancestry, which is common for many people.
Even though science proved they are not related, the players joke that they still feel like brothers. Fans also love the story, and it has become one of baseball’s funniest doppelgänger tales.
