Samsung quietly announced the Galaxy Alpha today. It sports a 4.7in HD 720p Super AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 320ppi. It is powered by an octa-core processor 1.8GHz Exynos 5 with 2GB of RAM. The battery size is 1850mAH and 32GB of internal storage (cannot be expanded with microSD card). There's also a 12MP camera on its rear, a 2.1MP front-facing camera and built-in NFC support. However, it runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 which is the latest, with TouchWiz skin on top of it.

If you are buying this device, I suggest you wait for the Note 4 which is going to be launched on September. Reason is because the specs are not that great and the price will be quite high.
