Samsung Galaxy S24/S24+/Ultra: How to Turn On/Off Mobile Data
Learn how you can Turn On/Off Mobile Data on the Samsung Galaxy S24/S24+/Ultra.
This video demonstration is on Android 14.
To turn on or off mobile data on Galaxy S24, follow these steps:
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the quick settings panel.
2. Tap on the "Mobile data" icon. This will toggle mobile data on or off.
Note: If the "Mobile data" icon is not visible in the quick settings panel, you can swipe left or right to find it. If it's still not there, you may need to edit the quick settings panel and add the "Mobile data" icon.
Alternatively, you can turn on or off mobile data using the device settings:
1. Open the device settings.
2. Tap on "Connections"
3. Tap on "Data Usage"
4. Toggle the "Mobile data" switch on or off.
When mobile data is turned off, the device will not be able to access mobile data services, such as mobile internet, email, and messaging, unless connected to Wi-Fi or other internet-enabled networks. Turning off mobile data can help conserve battery life and reduce data usage when not needed.
When mobile data is turned on, the device will automatically connect to the mobile data network when Wi-Fi is not available or when the Wi-Fi signal is weak. However, using mobile data may consume data from your mobile data plan and may incur additional charges, depending on your mobile data plan and usage.
