2,675The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally released in May 2025 in the UK, but how does it compare with the S25 Ultra? Now, this ultra-thin smartphone costs from 1099 quid so it's almost as premium priced at the S25 Ultra. However, a few features have been downgraded, starting with the smaller 3900mAh battery with 25W charging. I'll be testing out the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge battery life when my SIM is inside, but expect a shorter lifespan.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite is once again on board, although the cooling setup has changed vs the Ultra. Likewise, you don't have the same camera tech slapped on the Samsung S25 Edge. That 200MP main shooter uses the same sensor, but the telephoto has been axed and the Ultra's fresh 50MP ultra-wide sensor has also been swapped out.
Apart from that it's the same OneUI 7 experience - no OneUI 8 on board as previously rumoured. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be available to buy in the UK from May 30, but are you tempted?
