Samsung S95B Firmware 1520 Picture Settings vs Service Menu Hacks - SDR, HDR, HLG, & Both Game Modes
You will get an idea what the difference looks like on the Samsung S95B between Firmware 1520 with my Recommended Picture Settings applied (see below) and the same picture settings with the Service Menu Hacks applied. I had an issue come up during recording the Service Menu Hacks footage, and therefore the Shutter Speed on the Camera was set to Auto as a result. Most of the footage matched the same shutter speed just for reference. There are a few moments where you may see what appears as an over exposed/blown out image, but this was result of the camera issues I had at the time of recording. Most of the footage is accurate enough for comparison purposes in this video to get the point across showing the differences. There is still brightness to be gained with the Service Menu Hacks applied, especially in Game HDR.
You can download Firmware 1520.7 here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0060011&modelCode=QN65S95BAFXZA
The camera settings are exactly the same for both (shy of the shutter speed issue mentioned above).
