If you're into Figure collecting and stuff, going the Samurai Buyer route might not be the most terrible thing ever. While I haven't used it, I have seen the difference between the prices of a figure that's long out of print online through Amazon and eBay compared to what it's going on sites like Mandrake and who knows how much it would cost in some small store at the source, so if you're into that it might be worth checking into.
