This third part of Samurai Shodown Story explains the events narrated in Samurai Shodown 64, 64 Warriors rage and Warriors rage.

Each game introduces a new protagonist : Haohmaru and Shiki in Samurai Shodown 64, Asura in 64 Warriors rage and Seishiro and Mikoto in Warriors rage.

The first two were released on the Hyper Neo Geo 64, while the last one was exclusive to the original Playstation.
